Chinese Web Portals for Electronics Designers
From the Knowledgespeak website:
"B2B media firm Global Sources Ltd. and Electronic Engineering Times-China (EE Times-China) have launched three specialised electronics web sites targeted at Chinese designers of cellular phones, media players and automotive electronics. The sites are at http://cellphone.eetchina.com, http://mediaplayer.eetchina.com and http://autoelectronics.eetchina.com, respectively.
The portals provide news updates, new product reports and technical features in simplified Chinese. They also host forums for the engineers to discuss design issues in their respective fields. The new sites are expected to help Chinese engineers meet the increasing pressure from manufacturers to develop innovative, cost-effective designs in the shortest possible time. They seek to offer a comprehensive source of methodologies and technologies required by the designers. The sites are also expected to help technology firm reach specific design communities in China. Each site offers more than 500 specialised technical reports.
About 30,000 engineers have pre-registered for the three web sites since September 2005. Technology firm that are sponsoring the sites include Cypress Semiconductor and Texas Instruments, US. The content is sourced daily from EE Times-China and tailored to meet the requirements of the designers. The Electronic Engineering Times network is part of Global Sources' integrated information portfolio that serves the electronics industry from design to export through print magazines, web sites, and conferences and exhibitions. EE Times-China is published by eMedia Asia Ltd., a joint venture between Global Sources and integrated media firm CMP."
Note--the sites are in Chinese (which I don't read) so I can't tell you how helpful they might be.
