AMA President Speaking Friday
As part of the National Health Forum 2005, Dr. J. Edward Hill, President of the American Medical Association, will give a talk "In Search of Captains" on Friday, November 18, 10 a.m., in the M.D. Anderson Library Rockwell Pavilion. Dr. Hill's talk will touch on the following topics:
* public health
* the need for health care leaders in the 21st century
* the role of doctors as leaders
* the importance of technology
* the importance of care-based costs.
While Dr. Hill's talk is focused toward the students, the entire UH community is invited to attend.
